This 3D print was recently created for the daughter of a man who has alzheimer’s. The photograph is the house that he grew up in.
The image was turned into a 3d relief so that he could not only see it but also feel the texture and shapes in the image.
The final result is somewhere between a sculpture and a photograph and is an example of how 3D print technology can improve peoples lives and make us feel more connected in many ways.
